This Halloween weekend, Bon Secours In Motion is a sponsor of the wildly successful Wicked 10K race at the Virginia Beach oceanfront. More than 5,000 runners will celebrate Halloween by running in Saturday morning’s 6.2 mile road race. Many run in costume.
The race has been sold out for weeks, but volunteer opportunities remain. Visit the Wicked 10K website at http://www.wicked10k.com/Home.htm for details.
Friday, from 2pm-8pm, the crew from In Motion Sports Performance and Physical Therapy will be present at the race packet distribution, which takes place at the second floor of the Virginia Beach Pavilion, 19th St. at the Beach.
The following morning, In Motion staff members will be among the fast and the funny-costumed who run the race along Atlantic Avenue and the Virginia Beach Boardwalk to the finish at 18th and oceanfront.
Afterwards, they’ll join in the post-race party.
Also this weekend, therapists and trainers at In Motion Physical Therapy at the Victory YMCA in York County are dressing in costume and having patients vote for the best. Therapy is hard work – In Motion understands that fun is an important ingredient in healing.
Carving a pumpkin? Can you create a wilder design than the pumpkin above? Thanks to top pumpkin carver Josh White, an In Motion trainer, for his work. Awesome job!
Have a great Halloween weekend!
