This year’s Day of Dance for Heart Health promises to be bigger and better than ever!
Saturday, February 27, at Thomas Nelson Community College and at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott, Bon Secours hosts free health screenings, dance performance, dance lessons, and heart healthy cooking demonstrations.
These events are free.
However, visitors to downtown Norfolk event should know that there is a fee for parking in any of the downtown garages.
When you come to Day of Dance, you’ll meet top area physicians with important health information about your heart, bone health, joint and back pain and nutrition. Free screenings up the value and give you important information about the state of your health.
This year, guests will enjoy Irish Step, Latin, Hip Hop and other dance styles in spirited demonstrations by local dancers.
But for all the fun, don’t forget the day’s real message – get active, get information, and prevent Heart Disease in women.
We’ll bet you didn’t know that heart disease is the no. 1 killer of American women. And it’s an unnecessary killer, since healthy lifestyle choices can significantly lower a woman’s heart disease risk by 82%.
Day of Dance wants to influence you to make heart healthy choices!
