Let Kids Pick Their Veggies

A study at the University of Granada in Spain proves what so many parents already know: children eat more vegetables if they’re allowed to choose them. By how much? Up to 80 percent more. Of course it helps if you have vegetables available that your child enjoys. Children tend to dislike the bitter taste in spinach, collard greens, cabbage, onion, chard and broccoli, the study notes.
