Smart Phone Not-So Smart While Driving

Despite safe driving campaigns, many college students admit they use mobile phone applications while behind the wheel.

More than one-third of 93 students surveyed from the University of Alabama admitted sometimes using a web-based application while driving. Ten percent of the students interviewed said they often use apps. Health leaders urge people not to text while driving let alone use smart apps. Many states have outlawed talking on the cell phone for drivers.
