Coffee Linked to Lower Risk for Endometrial Cancer

The latest buzz on coffee may send many women back for refills.

Drinking four or more cups of coffee per day cut a woman’s risk of developing cancer in the lining of the uterus by 25 percent, according to a study conducted by researchers at Harvard University. The study, funded by the National Institutes of Health also found that women who drank three cups per day had a 7 percent lower risk for endometrial cancer.

Despite the results, researchers say it doesn’t prove that coffee reduced the risk.
