Company Recalls Excedrin, NoDoz, Bufferin and Gas-X products

Consumers who own any bottles of Excedrin, NoDoz, Bufferin and Gas-X should check them to see if they have been recalled.

The company Novartis Consumer Health recalled these products because they may contain “stray tablets, capsules or caplets from other Novartis products, or contain broken or chipped tablets,” according to the Food and Drug Administration’s website for recalls.

Novartis recalled all lots of Excedrin and NoDoz products that expire Dec. 20, 2014 or earlier as well as Bufferin and Gas-X Prevention products that expire on Dec. 20, 2013 or earlier. For more information, visit the company’s website for recall and refund information.
