New Perk for Black Tea Drinkers

Drinking three cups of black tea daily may help lower your blood pressure.

According to new research, study participants saw their blood pressure drop an average of two to three points in their 24-hour average systolic blood pressure level and about two points in their diastolic level, which is the lower number in a blood pressure reading. This was after drinking three cups of black tea every day for six months.

The study was published in the Archives of Internal Medicine.
