Milk: A Smart Choice

Feeling a little sluggish mentally?

A new study published in the International Dairy Journal found that adults who drink milk scored better on memory and brain function tests than those who drank little or no milk.

Researchers at the University of Maine say those who had at least one glass of milk daily had an advantage. People who participated in the study took visual-spatial, verbal and working memory tests.

The 2010 federal dietary guidelines recommend adults drink three glasses of lowfat or fat free milk every day.
