Renovation of DePaul’s Center for Birth Planned

For years, Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center has been the birthplace of choice in our community, well known for its advanced concepts in bringing new life into the world. Today, the tradition continues.

It is our intention to continue to improve the Center for Birth for future patients and their new families. These renovations are only possible through the help of generous donors in our community.

The Center for Birth was designed with its patients’ total comfort in mind and continues to provide the most advanced medical care in a calming, spacious setting. Families have the opportunity to share the miracle of birth in our state-of-the-art labor and delivery rooms.

The Midwifery Center at DePaul is proud to be the region’s first and only hospital-based, Midwifery Birth Center – designed to offer a high-touch experience in a home-like environment but within the safety of a hospital. The philosophy is to treat birth like a natural process.

With donor support, the Center for Birth will attract even more expectant mothers to experience the compassionate care of medical specialists and highly experienced nurses who are dedicated to the whole family. With their knowledge and skill, they are able to guide and assist mothers and fathers, as they bring new lives into the world.

The Bon Secours DePaul Center for Birth renovation is gift dependent. Every gift helps, no matter the size. Gifts of $1,000 or more will be acknowledged on a donor plaque that will proudly be displayed within the Center. After we have achieved our goal of $200,000 raised, we will have a special blessing community event where we will be sharing pictures and stories of the babies born at DePaul.
