Study Gives New Hope in Fight Against Diabetes

Worried about developing diabetes? A new study shows that people with pre-diabetes can possibly avoid getting diabetes if their blood glucose levels are normalized in time.

The study, conducted by researchers from the Colorado School of Public Health and the University of Colorado School of Medicine, found that those who were able to return to normal glucose regulation were 56 percent less likely to develop the disease 10 years later, according to a university press release.

The study was published in The Lancet.
