Vaccinations: Not Just for Kids

We all know children need specific immunizations as they’re growing up. But did you know adults need vaccines, too?

Which ones vary for each person depending on your age, lifestyle, travel plans and immunization history, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Make sure you ask your doctor if you need the following immunizations to maintain protection against:

  • Seasonal influenza
  • Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis
  • Shingles
  • Pneumococcal disease
  • Hepatitis B

Other vaccinations your doctor may recommend include protection against human papillomavirus, hepatitis A, chickenpox, measles, mumps and rubella.
