Researchers say children who have tooth pain and cavities miss more school and earn lower grades than those who have no oral problems.
In fact, the study shows that children with tooth pain were four times more likely to have a grade point average below 2.8. The study, conducted by researchers from the Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California, will appear in the American Journal of Public Health.
