When Parents Exercise, So Do Their Kids

A small study conducted by researchers at National Jewish Health has found that when mothers walked an additional 2,000 steps or more per day, their children averaged an additional 2,117 steps.

And when fathers walked additional steps, it had a similar effect, according to a news release from National Jewish Health.

The study was published in the July issue of the Journal of Physical Activity and Health.
