Lend a hand in helping our children…
This Child Bullying Prevention workshop is for parents and professionals working with or caring for children. Bullying is the intention to repeatedly harm someone over time. It occurs in a relationship where an imbalance of power exists. It includes unwelcome physical contact with the intent to harm, embarrass or demean another child. It also can include verbal and emotional abuse. Bullying can interfere with a child’s emotional and physical well-being, lead to depression, cause thoughts of suicide, increase chances of academic failure, result in low self-esteem and negatively impact relationships with family and friends.
Join us as we learn what is bullying, why do children bully, the effects and impact of bullying, how to deal with bullying, what to do if your child is being bullied, and what to do if your child is bullying.
