Join Dr. Mitchell Shiffman of the Liver Institute of Virginia and his colleagues April 12-14 at the Washington Marriott at Metro Center in downtown Washington, DC for two ACG courses. ACG’s Hepatitis School is a day-long interactive educational program providing an immersion in hepatitis C management and a clinical update on new therapeutic modalities and approaches. The program will focus on the epidemiology of hepatitis C, the newly released cohort screening guidelines, the pre-treatment medical evaluation of the patient with hepatitis C, the currently approved therapies for hepatitis C and will discuss the pipeline of new drug development for the treatment of hepatitis C.
Following Hepatitis School, ACG’s Eastern Regional Postgraduate Course will begin. The course will tackle challenging areas in the care of patients with GI diseases, provide a review of common and often seen patient problems and provide practical approaches and solutions to patient care. Hands-on sessions will be offered and are included in the registration fee. Hands-on sessions include:
- Advanced Polypectomy
- Barrett’s Ablation
- Enteral Stents
