“Wonderful Neighborhood Hospital” – The Pfitzner Family Gives Back to DePaul

The Pfitzner Family: Jenn, Ainsley, Travis, and Henry

Both of Jenn and Travis Pfitzner’s children were born at DePaul Medical Center. Because they had such a great experience, the couple is giving back and supporting the renovation of the Center for Birth at DePaul.

“Our family was taken care of, and we felt special for it,” said Jenn. “The doctors and nurses did everything they could to make sure we had the birth experience that we wanted.”

Both the Pfitzner children were born via C-section, and Jenn credits the compassionate care and able staff of Bon Secours with making the experience so positive.

A Norfolk native, Jenn was born in the same hospital as her two children, Henry and Ainsley, so DePaul is truly her family hospital. She loves having such an excellent hospital in her neighborhood.

“DePaul is a wonderful neighborhood hospital,” Jenn said. “We want to see the hospital continue to thrive and grow. We are excited about future plans for newer facilities as they are good for the neighborhood and for Norfolk.”

Generous donors like the Pfitzners are allowing for the renovation of the Center for Birth at DePaul — complete with modern conveniences to make families feel at home during one of the most special moments in their lives.
